Our second guest on our Faith & Work series is Phillip Trent III. Phillip is a computer engineer at Apple who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is originally from Nashville, but moved to Philadelphia for college, and then landed in the Bay Area for work in 2018. He’s usually hiking, backpacking, or traveling, but when you do find him at home, he’s likely hosting a game night or working on some new cocktail recipes. Phillip talks with us about what faith in tech can be like, and how to be both intellectual and have a strong faith. He shares his best practices on faith and work with us, and he discusses following his bent in a way that He loves what he gets to do in his career.
