US Election EPS: 14 Dr. Eric Woodard on working at the White House, the Smithsonian, and Guam
As the US citizens head to the polls, Eric Woodard reminds us of what his time of working in the White House taught him about what we should consider when voting for a US President. Dr. Eric Woodard is an internationally recognized high performance executive career coach and mentor dedicated to helping professionals at all levels win at work.
Part of the reason Eric is so focused on career success is because he struggled so much early in his career. After plowing through the working world for decades, he now loves passing on the secrets of career success he wish he'd known at the beginning of his career.
Beyond advising numerous students, schools, employers, and professionals at all levels about career success, he has created and directed internship and other career programs at the White House, on Capitol Hill, at the U.S. State Department, and the Smithsonian Institution.
Eric is the author of multiple books about crossing the bridge between school and work, including Your Last Day of School, and The Ultimate Guide to Internships. He holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Missouri, and both an M.A. in International Affairs and an Ed.D. in Human and Organizational Learning from George Washington University where he researched the nature of internships that develop intern soft skills.
Eric lives in Alexandria, VA with his amazing wife Keri and their 4 fantastic kids.
