Freida Adams, the retired Director of Border Health for New Mexico talks about the coalition she stays involved with, the questions the Biden administration has already been asking in her circles to get their transition plan in place regarding Covid and the situation with immigrants, especially kids in cages on the border. She talks about the long wait to see a woman become Vice President, and how that made her want to reach out to her granddaughter to celebrate that moment. She talks about her excitement that our new Vice President is also a Black woman and an Indian-American as well.
